“We took this tour on our last day in London, and it was the highlight of our visit to England. We are big Downton Abbey and Endeavor fans so this tour was perfect for us. Our guide (Carol) was extremely knowledgeable about everything Oxford and Downton. Our bus driver (Christian) was excellent too. Loved the walk through the little town of Bampton (Downton). Of course the highlight was going inside Highclere Castle. So beautiful and a great mix of the "real world" and the "fictional world". We recommend this for Downton Abbey fans as well as anyone interested in the history of the great estates. Two thumbs up!”

“Positive: Highclere Castle is beautiful. The self-guided house tour, grounds, gift shop, and the bonus Egyptian exhibit are wonderful. The ride through the countryside was also nice. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the driver provided safe transport. Negatives: The coach we traveled in was small and rather uncomfortable. There was not enough legroom, which made for a long ride, and for the overall cost, it definitely should have been a more spacious vehicle. My family felt that the guide's attire was not professional; that he didn't look like he was representing an organization, which was a bit disconcerting to them when meeting him at our group pick-up point.”

“Our tour guide, Simon, was amazing! I knew next to nothing about Harry Potter, but was there for my teenage grandson, who is a fan, so I expected to just sort of enjoy the walk. Simon made the tour and sites so interesting, though, that I am looking forward to actually watching the movies or reading the books in the future. All of the younger participants were enthralled as Simon engaged them in trivia questions, helped us figure out which "house" we fit in, and described how movie set directors changed what we were looking at into what was seen in the films, with great photos to compare to. “We had a great tour. Amber and Terry were great team and worked well together. The tour to Cogges farm, Highclere Castle and the town of Bampton was great. Amber pointed out every screen, setup the shot for us and discussed the characters in Downton Abby. She is entertaining, engaging and delight to be part of her tour. Terry had one issue when the van won’t start. He quickly resolved it, let us know the issues, and didn’t lose one minute of our tour. They were fantastic even in crises situation. Loved the tour.”
